I’d write songs inspired by you
But since I don’t write songs my love
I hope this poem will do

I try to write these songs for you
Cuz your love means so much to me
Your love makes me want to write songs about love
And your love makes my heart want to sing

If I was a songwriter
All my songs would be about you
But nothing I could write in a song my love
Could ever be half as cool as you

I’d love to write a song for you
So you know you’re all I need
I just can’t live without you baby
Your love’s sweeter than pure semi sweet

If I was a songwriter
I hope my songs would ring on through
Cuz I love how you make me feel like
The most luckiest man in the world

If I was a songwriter
The whole world would know you’re my Queen
And I don’t have to be a songwriter
For you to tell me that I’m still your King

As for now I am no songwriter
And don’t care if I’ll ever be
Cuz when I’m lying besides you
You make my world feel so complete
