As I am sitting here looking up to the sky
Clouds have turned grey that one day were white

Now a silver lining of at least fifty shades

Blocks the sun from shining,
warmth upon my face

Somewhere a bird is singing, a lonely song for me

As I marvel at the beauty, I feel tears fall down my cheeks
Although we call this crying, sometimes I’ll happily weep

I know I’m not the only one
that’s ever felt this way

I understand
sometimes I wanna die,
is something that we say

 I know I’m not the only one
to carry all this pain

But it’s how I know I’m living
and it’s how I plan to stay

So I ponder and I wander,
see miracles happening everyday

Don’t let your doubts consume you,
to shadow who you are today

Remember who that is,
and we’re all one in the same

The fires burning in us,
there’s strength in eternal Grace
