Let it be still

Let it be still

Let it be still and observe | Let it be still and just hear.

With every breath I take in | The more connected I feel.

Be still and observe | Be still and just hear.

Letting go of old thoughts | See that new ones appear

When your dreams have stopped glowing | Just can’t bring them into light

And your stream is still flowing | Always tears in your eyes

Don’t stop the seeds from growing | They hold the secrets to your life

Sometimes to get where your going | You must first have to look inside

Let it be still and observe | Let it be still and just hear

With every breath I take in | The more connected I feel

Be still and observe| Be still and just hear

Letting go of old thoughts | I see a new Me appear

Every idea you think are the seeds | That are full of endless possibility

They may grow to reach the sky | And some may wither out and die

How you tend your garden | Now’s completely up to you

The most beautiful of flowers | Are thoughts which in time will bloom

Let it be still and observe | Let it be still and just hear

With every breath I take in | The more connected I feel

Be still and observe | Be still and just hear

Letting go of old thoughts | See it from behind the mirror

I know now what I do | I know now who I am

Setting poetry into motion | Letting our emotions go with the wind

Time is just an illusion | The future’s just merely a sham

Cause you know it’s all really happening | Here and now, right where you stand

(“Help me understand!”)

Some call this a secret | Should call it common sense

We can not control the future | It’s happening for us as we live

As we’re busy in the present | Working hard and making plans

While we’re waiting for our futures | We’re really only creating the past

Let it be still and observe | Let it be still and just hear

With every breath I take in | The more connected I feel

Be still and observe | Be still and just hear

Letting go of old thoughts | Do you feel love growing here
