I Know I’m Not The Only One (A Star Is Born)

As I am sitting here looking up at the sky
Clouds have turned grey that one day were white

Now a silver lining of at least fifty shades

Blocks the sun from shining,
warmth upon my face

Somewhere a bird is singing, a lonely song for me

I marvel at the beauty,
feel tears fall down my cheeks

It may look like I am crying,
but sometimes I happily weep

I know I’m not the only one
that’s ever felt this way

I understand
sometimes I wanna die,
is something that we say

I know I’m not the only one
to carry all this pain

But it’s how I know I’m living
and it’s how I plan to stay

So I ponder and I wander,
see miracles happen everyday

Don’t let your doubts consume you,
to shadow who you are today

Remember who that is,
and we’re all one in the same

The fires burning in us,
the strength of eternal Grace

I know I’m not the only one
that’s ever felt this way

I understand
sometimes I wanna die,
is something that we say

I know I’m not the only one
to carry all this pain

But it’s how I know I’m living
and it’s how I plan to stay

It’ll be okay, I understand,
I have also felt this way

I am always here for you,
I promise each and everyday

All love is pure and all love is good

but our love is the kinda love, baby
that’s written when a star is born

I know I’m not the only one
that’s ever felt this way

I understand,
sometimes I wanna die
is something that we say

I know I’m not the only one
to carry all this pain

But it’s how I know I’m living
and it’s how I plan to stay
