As I am sitting here looking up at the sky
Clouds have turned grey that one day were white

Now a silver lining of at least fifty shades

Blocks the sun from shining,
warmth upon my face

Somewhere a bird is singing, a lonely song for me

I marvel at the beauty,
feel tears fall down my cheeks

It may look like I am crying,
but sometimes I happily weep

I know I’m not the only one
that’s ever felt this way

I understand
sometimes I wanna die,
